The Nike Victory Bra
Choosing the right sports bra can be a challenge with the numerous options in the market. As a runner, I am particular about comfort, support and ability to wick sweat. The bra must be a proper fit that limits breasts bouncing and chaffing. Good fabric that keeps the body drier with good wicking ability is ideal for our Asian humid climate.
I had the opportunity to trial the new Nike Victory sports bra. It was averagely comfortable for me as the length feels slightly shorter than the other sports brand I am accustomed to. The baseband elasticity can be improved but it is probably intended that way to minimise movement hence prevent chaffing.
The smooth seems was another great feature and I didn’t experience any chaffing while wearing it. It was not difficult to remove the bra even when wet unlike most other brands. Nike’s bra mould is a snug fit and the mesh racer back provided good support. I particularly liked how it was able to keep me cool in the sweltering heat.

Feather Run 2011
The Feather Run is back again! Happening on the 13th of November 2011, a Sunday, at Jurong Bird Park, this year’s run will see the opening of several new distances with something for everyone. The 1.5km, 3.5km and 7km competitive challenges will be followed by a 1.5km Fun Run/ Walk; so bring along your babies in their prams and your grandparents in their walkers!!!
